Jessica Jones' Season 2 to premiere on March 8

Our favourite hard drinking Private Investigator and the strongest Defender, Jessica Jones will be back to our screen on March 8, 2018 for the highly anticipated second season of one of best Netflix series, Jessica Jones. Even though the second season of the critically acclaimed Marvel Netflix show is just a few months away, the show runners has not yet revealed much details about the new season.

However, according to the official synopsis, it seems that Jessica will still be dealing with her history even after the death of Kilgrave, who was the main antagonist in the first season of the show. The official synopsis reads, "New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why."

The new set images released gives a clear look at the titular heroine, Jessica Jones. In addition to that, we also get a brief glimpse at the supporting characters of season 2. Janet McTeer, who plays a crucial mystery character in the second season of Jessica Jones can be seen talking with the Private Detective. The show runners have already hinted that the character played by Janet McTeer will change the world of Jessica Jones and her allies.

In one of the set images, we can also see the sinister Kilgrave played by David Tennant, who is popularly known as the Purple Man among comic readers and Marvel fans. However, it has been reported that Kilgrave  will only be appearing in a single episode, as a flashback or as a manifestation in Jessica’s mind, as he was killed in the first season of the show.

The showrunner, Melissa Rosenberg said, "I will always use as much as I can from the books, but unfortunately we've gone away from that mythology. The MCU is very different, and we're probably not going to be able to do parallel storylines. But I take every little piece I can [from the comics], because it's so good." She added, "I just want to continue with Jessica's character – she's very damaged, and the damage goes beyond Kilgrave, so there's a lot to mine from in her backstory and her present day situation."

Daredevil Season 3 Images Teases Kingpin’s Return

The crime boss and the villainous Wilson Fisk, who goes by the name Kingpin was one the best things about the first season of Daredevil. D'Onofrio’s performance as the archenemy of the devil of Hell’s kitchen was absolutely spoon and it was widely accepted by both critics and fans who wanted to see more of D’Onofrio’s kingpin. However, the screen time given to Wilson Fisk was pretty much limited in the second season of Daredevil.

Surprisingly, the third season of Daredevil, which is rumored to adapt the Born Again comic story line, will contain D'Onofrio, as one of the series regulars. This implies that D'Onofrio’s kingpin will play a key role in the third season of the series. In fact, the recently released set photos from the set of Daredevil hints that Wilson Fisk’s is finally out of the jail

Charlie Cox will return as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen for the third season of the series and it has also been confirmed that Deborah Ann Wolf will also be back as Karen Page. Apart from that, Rosario Dawson who plays the nurse Claire Temple in the Netflix shows of Marvel will also be reprising her role

In a recent interview, Vincent D'Onofrio spoke about playing Wilson Fisk and said, "I love the idea that I get to play him. I wanted to do the right thing, and I want to keep doing it. I remember the first season and how all of the Daredevil and Fisk fans were talking about it. It's a big deal to them, and that really inspired me. It really brought my enthusiasm up, a lot."

He added, "I've shot some pretty cool scenes, so far. It's different, but it's very Fisk. It's still very emotional. The character is evolving. His whole deal is based on emotion, so we're taking him down that role further." This season of Daredevil will certainly be emotional, as many of us are under the impression that Matt Murdock/Daredevil gave his life to save the city at the end of Defenders. So, the season will explore the state of mind of Karen, Foggy, and others who have no clue that Matt is alive after the events of Defenders.

The excitement and anticipation of Avengers Infinity War is on the rise, as Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson/ Falcon recently hinted that 40 superheroes will share the screen at the very same time in one of the epic scenes in the upcoming Avengers movie. In addition, Mackie also talked about his experience while filming the Avengers movies and said that Avengers Infinity War is going to be the best MCU movie till date.

He said, “There was one day we were on set and were doing this scene that’s in the trailer where we’re all running to battle, you know, all of us are on set and it’s like forty superheroes. I look to my right and I see Tom Holland and Dave Bautista. I see them in the corner and Tom is literally the size of Dave’s leg, I don’t know what they’re talking about but Bautista jumps up and does a kick-punch move and I was like ‘Yo, you’re about to kill him!'”

When asked about the state of mind of the Marvel superheroes after the events that happened during Captain America : Civil War, the actor said, “Coming off such a huge battle that these characters are coming off of, everybody’s trying to find their footing again. Everybody’s trying to figure out where they are and how they’ll be accepted and looked upon, not only by the rest of the world but by the other heroes since we’ve been separated. So that’s kind the overall idea of where we’re coming from and how do we get out of that to save the world.”

Marvel has already announced that the Avengers will join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight against Thanos, who will be played by none other than Josh Brolin. Moreover, it has also been announced that some of the Marvel Superheroes might not survive Infinity war. However, before the highly anticipated Avengers movie hit the screen, Marvel will take us to the magnificent city of Wakanda.

Several marvel fans claim that the soul stone is located in Black Panther’s Wakanda.  In the trailer, we can see that Captain America, Bucky, Hulk, War Machine, Black Widow and Falcon are defending Wakanda from an unknown threat. So, it means that there is something very important in Wakanda. Black Panther will hit the screen by mid-February.
