Ryan Coogler Writes an Emotional Letter to Black Panther Fans

Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther is not just another success MCU movie that will beat box office records instead it is a flat out phenomenon, which was an absolute treat to MCU fans and casual movie lovers.  As per reports, MCU’s Black Panther has earned 202 million dollars in just three days after its opening. The only other Avengers movie that has acquired more money in the box office was The Avengers

As Marvel fans and movie lovers are enjoying the massive success of Black Panther, the director of the movie, Ryan Coogler is speechless but he still does have a few things to say to fans. Ryan Coogler, who has enjoyed success with Creed and Fruitvale Station has made history, as Black Panther is the highest grossing film in the United States, which was directed by a black director. Coogler celebrated the success of Black Panther by writing an emotional letter to shows his gratitude to fans.

Coogler Wrote, “I am struggling to find the words to express my gratitude at this moment, but I will try. Filmmaking is a team sport. And our team was made up [of] amazing people from all over the world who believe in this story. Deep down we all hoped that people would come to see a film about a fictional country on the continent of Africa, made up of a cast of people of African descent.”

He added, “Never in a million years did we imagine that you all would come out this strong. It still humbles me to think that people care enough to spend their money and time watching our film- But to see people of all backgrounds wearing clothing that celebrates their heritage, taking pictures next to our posters with their friends and family, and sometimes dancing in the lobbies of theaters– often moved me and my wife to tears. For the people who bought out theaters, who posted on social about how lit the film would be, bragged about our awesome cast, picked out outfits to wear, and who stood in line in theaters all over the world– all before seeing the film.”

He concluded his letter by adding, “To the press who wrote about the film for folks who hadn’t yet seen it, and encouraged audiences to come out. And to the young ones, who came out with their parents, with their mentors, and with their friend. Thank you for giving our team of filmmakers the greatest gift: The opportunity to share this film, that we poured our hearts and souls into, with you.”

It is possible that Coogler might return to direct Black Panther 2 but there hasn’t been any official confirmation. However, it is evident that Kevin Feige and Marvel Studious will love to have the visionary and extremely talented Ryan Coogler back. Black Panther and some of his allies will be back for Avengers Infinity War, which is just a couple of months away from release.

Sebastian Stan Loves To Take Up the Mantle of Captain America

The upcoming Avengers movies, Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4 will bring a number of changes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it would possibly mark the final showdown of some of the iconic Marvel characters such as Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man. One of the most common fan theories surfacing around the internet suggest that the Steve Rogers might sacrifice his life during Avengers Infinity War to stop the Mad Titan, Thanos.

One of the most interesting things about this fan theory is that MCU fans claims that Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier will take up the mantle of Captain America after the demise of Steve Rogers. During an interview, Sebastian Stan who plays Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier was asked whether he would like to play Captain America in the MCU or not.

Stan said, “I mean, yeah I would love that one day, absolutely. I don't know when that day would be, and I just think...it would be a very different Captain America you know, you wouldn't be able to have the same Captain America as you have right now because he's a different guy. Again, there's this issue where we've got to get him to be trustworthy enough for them to give him that responsibility, you know, to fill those shoes, and those are hard shoes to fill. So I think it's possible, I really do, but it just has to make sense and we might need a little more time.”

We still have no clue or official confirmation on whether Bucky Barnes will suit up as Captain America or not but we know is that the contract of Chris Evans will end by the fourth Avengers movie. Therefore, there is a good possibility for someone else to take up the mantle of Captain America. Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson/Falcon is also another possible candidate to take up the position of Captain America in the upcoming marvel movies.

However, as for now, it seems that Chris Evans is incredibly happy and he is very much enjoying his time with the shield. Chris Evans said, “No, it's wonderful. It's so nice. Sometimes I've played not so savory characters in the past and it's, you know, you got to be in a really nasty headspace and you can't help but take some of that home with you and it can feel like a little bit of a storm cloud."

He added, “But playing Cap, it's such a nice energy to try to encompass every day. You can't help but try and compare it to your own life and find kind of analogous circumstances where you can live up to the person you try to portray each day. No, its a blessing. I love it.” Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan will share screen once again in Avengers Infinity War, which is scheduled for a May 4th release.

Chris Hemsworth’s MCU Contract will end by Avengers 4

The Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth who has played the God of Thunder Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe recently confirmed that he is through playing the iconic Marvel superhero. The actor also confirmed that his MCU contract will expire after the fourth Avengers movie, which is rumoured to hit the screen by the summer of 2019.

Chris Hemsworth said, “My contract's coming to an end, we've just finished the last two Avengers. Who knows what the future holds.” Even though the third instalment of the Thor movie, Thor: Ragnarok was considered as a breath of fresh air and one of the most enjoyable Marvel movies till date, Chris Hemsworth feel looks at the movie as an ending note.

However, the Australian actor did confirm that he is all set to make a comeback for Thor 4 if the creators at Marvel can come up with something much better than Thor: Ragnarok. Hemsworth talked about the last Thor movie and said, “We felt like we reinvented the last one in a big way. We might have a conversation if there's another great script that comes along. But at the moment that's it.”

As we are a few months into the release of one of the most anticipated superhero movie, Avengers Infinity War, we need to embrace the fact that things are changing in the MCU. The founding members of the MCU’s Avengers such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye will not be around for future Marvel movies, as most of their contracts are expiring.

Additionally, the arrival of the Mad Titan, Thanos to the earth to claim the Infinity Stones might also mean that some MCU heroes may have to sacrifice their lives to stop the Mad Titan. Fortunately, it has been confirmed that Chris Hemsworth will be appearing in both the upcoming Avengers movies. So, we hope that we will be able to see a heroic and epic conclusion to Thor’s journey in the MCU.

The upcoming Avengers movies, Avengers Infinity War (2018) and the Untitled Avengers movie (2019) is rumoured to be the final act for some of our favourite MCU characters including Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man. These heroes will pass the torch to other major Marvel characters like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel to transform the face of MCU.

Will Captain Marvel Debut In Avengers Infinity War

When it comes to raw power, Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel, is one of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe. So, it would be a huge disappointment and shame if one of the most iconic Female marvel superheroes doesn’t make an appearance in the next Avengers movie to lend a helping hand to the MCU superheroes in their fight against the Mad Titan, Thanos.

It has been already rumoured and almost confirmed that the Marvel superheroes will have to take extreme measure to stop Thanos from acquiring the Infinity stones. This is why it would make perfect sense to introduce Captain Marvel to the mix, as she will be able to help the Avengers in defeating the mad titan. Moreover, if you are a comic book reader, then you might also be familiar with the fact that Captain Marvel has stood tall on tall with Iron Man and Captain America. In fact, she has even punched Tony Stark, which put him in coma for years. This just gives us a subtle hint on what Captain Marvel is really capable of.

Fan theories and speculations about the appearance of Captain Marvel in Avengers Infinity War have been flooding the internet over the last few weeks. So, fans had anticipated that she might be making a cameo in the post credits scene of the movie. However, recent reports suggest that Carol Danvers might not be making an appearance in the third Avengers movie, Avengers Infinity War, which will hit the theatres in a couple of months.

During the Comic Con, one of the directors of the third Avengers movie, Joe Russo confirmed that Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel will not appear in Infinity War. However, he did proclaim that Carol Danvers will play a crucial role in Avengers 4 movie, which will be releasing on May, 2018. In addition to that, Scarlett Johansson who plays Black Widow in the MCU stated that Brie Larson who will be playing Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel is in Avengers 4. She also added that Larson has already shared a scene with Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. “She’s here before shooting the stand-alone Captain Marvel movie so we get to watch her get her feet wet for real,” Johansson said.

Jessica Jones' Season 2 to premiere on March 8

Our favourite hard drinking Private Investigator and the strongest Defender, Jessica Jones will be back to our screen on March 8, 2018 for the highly anticipated second season of one of best Netflix series, Jessica Jones. Even though the second season of the critically acclaimed Marvel Netflix show is just a few months away, the show runners has not yet revealed much details about the new season.

However, according to the official synopsis, it seems that Jessica will still be dealing with her history even after the death of Kilgrave, who was the main antagonist in the first season of the show. The official synopsis reads, "New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why."

The new set images released gives a clear look at the titular heroine, Jessica Jones. In addition to that, we also get a brief glimpse at the supporting characters of season 2. Janet McTeer, who plays a crucial mystery character in the second season of Jessica Jones can be seen talking with the Private Detective. The show runners have already hinted that the character played by Janet McTeer will change the world of Jessica Jones and her allies.

In one of the set images, we can also see the sinister Kilgrave played by David Tennant, who is popularly known as the Purple Man among comic readers and Marvel fans. However, it has been reported that Kilgrave  will only be appearing in a single episode, as a flashback or as a manifestation in Jessica’s mind, as he was killed in the first season of the show.

The showrunner, Melissa Rosenberg said, "I will always use as much as I can from the books, but unfortunately we've gone away from that mythology. The MCU is very different, and we're probably not going to be able to do parallel storylines. But I take every little piece I can [from the comics], because it's so good." She added, "I just want to continue with Jessica's character – she's very damaged, and the damage goes beyond Kilgrave, so there's a lot to mine from in her backstory and her present day situation."

Black Panther Director Wanted Spider-Man Villain Kraven The Hunter

The King of Wakanda, Black Panther will finally make his highly anticipated solo debuted in a few days and this MCU film will set up Avengers Infinity War, which is rumoured to be the greatest Marvel superhero showdown ever. In a recent interview, the director of Black Panther, Ryan Coogler revealed a shocking statement that two iconic Marvel characters almost made their live action debut in his movie.

Ryan Coogler added that he had originally planned for the long time foe of Spider-Man, Kraven the hunter to appear in the solo outing of Black Panther. However, the executives from MCU and Marvel studious refused his suggestions because they had other plans for Kraven the hunter. This means that Kraven might appear in the sequel of Spider-Man Homecoming or in one of the future movies of Sony that comes after Tom Hardy’s Venom.

Ryan Coogler said, “Being a Marvel fan, you want to grab all the characters, you realise there’s contractual things. You don’t have that character. There was a Christopher Priest run that was pretty heavy, there’s a big scene where Panther’s fighting Kraven, Kraven the Hunter.”

He added, “I’ve always loved Kraven the Hunter in almost every iteration. So there was a moment – ‘Can I grab Kraven?’ – and they were ‘Nah, you don’t have Kraven.’ He was one where I thought ‘Oh, man.’ But I don’t even know if he would have worked in the movie we ended up with, this was the early days.”

It is pretty exciting to hear Ryan Coogler is a passionate Marvel comic book fan and he has a number of ideas to bring more Marvel characters to the screen. This might help us to see more characters that are related to Black Panther or other Marvel superheroes in the sequel of Black Panther, which is rumored to take place after the events of the upcoming Avengers movies, Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4.

Ryan Coogler also added that he had also wanted the Young Avenger, Eli Bradley aka Patriot to make an appearance in Black Panther. He said, “Crazy enough, for comic book fans, we toyed with the character Patriot for a little bit. Early on we were interested to get our hands on him, Joe [Robert Cole] and I, but that ended up going away so we could focus on Wakanda a little more.”

Daredevil Season 3 Images Teases Kingpin’s Return

The crime boss and the villainous Wilson Fisk, who goes by the name Kingpin was one the best things about the first season of Daredevil. D'Onofrio’s performance as the archenemy of the devil of Hell’s kitchen was absolutely spoon and it was widely accepted by both critics and fans who wanted to see more of D’Onofrio’s kingpin. However, the screen time given to Wilson Fisk was pretty much limited in the second season of Daredevil.

Surprisingly, the third season of Daredevil, which is rumored to adapt the Born Again comic story line, will contain D'Onofrio, as one of the series regulars. This implies that D'Onofrio’s kingpin will play a key role in the third season of the series. In fact, the recently released set photos from the set of Daredevil hints that Wilson Fisk’s is finally out of the jail

Charlie Cox will return as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen for the third season of the series and it has also been confirmed that Deborah Ann Wolf will also be back as Karen Page. Apart from that, Rosario Dawson who plays the nurse Claire Temple in the Netflix shows of Marvel will also be reprising her role

In a recent interview, Vincent D'Onofrio spoke about playing Wilson Fisk and said, "I love the idea that I get to play him. I wanted to do the right thing, and I want to keep doing it. I remember the first season and how all of the Daredevil and Fisk fans were talking about it. It's a big deal to them, and that really inspired me. It really brought my enthusiasm up, a lot."

He added, "I've shot some pretty cool scenes, so far. It's different, but it's very Fisk. It's still very emotional. The character is evolving. His whole deal is based on emotion, so we're taking him down that role further." This season of Daredevil will certainly be emotional, as many of us are under the impression that Matt Murdock/Daredevil gave his life to save the city at the end of Defenders. So, the season will explore the state of mind of Karen, Foggy, and others who have no clue that Matt is alive after the events of Defenders.

10 Big Reveals From Avengers Infinity War TV Spot

The third Avengers movie, Avengers Infinity War had a crucial presence at Today’s Super Bowl. MCU released a short 31-second trailer, which was full of reveals, teases, and secretes for the upcoming superhero showdown. The next MCU movie, Black Panther, which will hit the screen in a couple of weeks is rumored to set up Avengers Infinity War.

As you would probably know, Avengers Infinity War will mark the 10-year celebration of MCU and it will bring the MAD Titan, Thanos to the earth in search of his precious Infinity Stones. It is pretty evident that the combined force of Avengers and Guardians of Galaxy may struggle and even have to take extreme measures to stop Infinity War villain, Thanos.

The Avengers Infinity War leaked trailer has left a few hints about the movie instead of making any statements. Moreover, the brief teaser gives us a brief glimpse on character arcs and key scenes but it also leaves more questions than answers. Let us breakdown the trailer to uncover the subtle hints in it.

Bucky’s New Arm

Shuri and the top scientists from Black Panther’s Wakanda has come up with a brand new arm for Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. It is interesting to note that Bucky’s new arm doesn’t contain a star and it seems that the effects HYDRA had on him has been reversed.

Tony’s New Tech

We get a brief glimpse at Iron Man’s new armor in the short Avengers Infinity War leaked trailer. The new suit has spread out from the inside of Tony’s body and it is pretty much similar to the Bleeding Edge tech from Marvel comic books.

Science Bros Are Back

The last time Tony Stark and Bruce Banner shared a screen together was in Avengers Age of Ultron. From the new trailer, it is evident that the Science Bros are back. The first Avengers Infinity War footage hinted that Bruce Banner will be wearing the Hulkbuster suit for a while but it seems that he will eventually transform into Hulk to stop Thanos.

Steve Is Back

One of our greatest worries about Avengers Inifinity war was will Vision survive without the stone. However, in the trailer, Steve joins black Widow and Vision, who seems to be in a bit of pain. So, this shot might suggest that Vision has already been attacked by Thanos or his Black Order.

Spidey Heads Into Outer Space

Spider-Man can be seen crawling up on of the mysterious ring-shaped machine that Thanos has sent to Earth. Spidey might encounter Thanos during this scene, which might not end well for the web crawler. However, Iron Man and Doctor Strange might show up to save him and then Tony gifts him the iconic Iron Spider suit.

Wanda And Vision

Wanda can be seen using her powers on Vision’s Mind Stone and It seems that Wanda is communicating to him. Perhaps, she might be the one who figures out a way to keep Vision alive even if he lose the Infinity Stone.

Nebula Returns

The new sneak peak gave us a clear look on the Adolescent version of Groot and Thanos’ daughter, Nebula. Nebula who is on the verge to seek vengeance from her dad will surely have a key role to play in Avengers Infinity War.

Cap Is Suited Up

We do get a closer look at Steve Rogers new suit from the Avengers Infinity War trailer leak. However, do not be fooled because Cap is actually holding two shields in the final shot of the trailer. We have to assume that both these shields may combine together to form a larger shield, which Cap will surely need if he’s going to face Thanos.

New Team-Ups

Yay! The MCU superhero team-ups that we have been waiting to see since the last 10 years is finally upon us. In the first few moments of the trailer, we can see Tony, Doctor Strange, and Spidey suited up and ready for action. After a few close-ups later, we can see Thor with Groot and rocket. This might be an endeavor to forge a new weapon for the God of Thunder.

Iron Man & Doctor Strange

In the final moments of the trailer, we can see a joint attack from the Sorcerer Supreme and Iron man. The impressive shot shows Doctor Strange coming up with an incantation right before a blast from Tony on someone who is attacking the city, presumably Thanos.

The Mad Titan, Thanos May Appear In Blank Panther

In a recent announcement, Forest Whitaker who plays a vital role in the upcoming MCU movie, Blank Panther revealed that the movie will go to the outer space. This recent statement from the actor suggests that the Mad Titan, Thanos might be making a brief cameo in the solo outing of the king of Wakanda. From the Black Panther trailers, fans had thought that the movie will take place only in the fictional African nation of Wakanda and it will be focused only on Black Panther and his allies. For a very long time, Marvel fans and casual movie watchers have been speculating that the soul stone in the Marvel Universe, which has not yet been shown in the MCU, is in Black Panther’s Wakanda.

So, it will make total sense for Thanos to make an appearance, as he is in pursuit of the Infinity Stones. However, don’t expect a mind-blowing action sequence between Thanos and Black Panther in the movie since  the Mad Titan is rumored to appear only in a post-credit sequence. There has not yet been any official confirmation on whether Thanos will be appearing in the movie or not. This means that we will have to wait until February 16, 2018, which is the official release date of Black Panther movie to know whether the rumour is true or not.

Forest Whitaker who plays the elder Zuri in Blathe movie said, We’re gonna see not only travel things but things that take us into outer space and things that take us into the James Bond space." Whitaker added, “It’s a really unique amalgamation of different things that come together in an exciting way.” Yes, the director of Black Panther had already talked about the similarities between James Bond and Black Panther but the recent mention of outer space has increased the hype and anticipation for this MCU movie, which will hit the theatres a couple of months before the release of the most awaited superhero showdown, Avengers Infinity War.

From the Avengers Infinity war trailer, it was evident that the fictional nation of Wakanda will play a crucial role in setting up the movie. In fact, Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, and a few more superheros were also seen fighting an unknown army in Wakanda. So, Thanos might be sending a few of his troops to retrieve the soul stone from Wakanda or he may even make a visit to collect the infinity stones in the post credits scene of Black Panther movie. Either way, who doesn’t want to see a solo Black Panther movie that takes fans to Wakanda and outer space.

76 Marvel Characters To Appear In Avengers Infinity War

Avengers Infinity War is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of 2018 and there is no doubt that the film will include most of the MCU superheroes. The epic showdown between the Marvel superheroes and Thanos will certainly be an absolute treat for both superhero movie fans and casual film watchers. The anticipation and hype of the third Avengers movie is on the rise, as the internet is filled with fan theories, speculations, rumours, and more.

The directors of Avengers Infinity War, Anthony and Joe Russo have already been confirmed that 67 Marvel characters will appear in the Avengers movie. However, in a recent interview, Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor in the MCU hinted that approximately 76 characters from the Marvel comic books will be appearing on both Avengers Infinity War and untitled fourth Avengers movie.

Chris Hemsworth said, "They're going to be massive. I finished literally two days ago and I looked at (directors) Joe and Anthony (Russo) and said, 'I don't know how you guys have gotten this far and I don't know how you're going to hold it together and complete this thing, but my hat's off to you.' This is one of the biggest things in film history and to be a part of it was just incredible. I think what these characters are about to face, with Thanos, there's been nothing quite like it. There are 76 cast members or something like that. I think what people are going to be excited about is what I was excited about and that's Thor meeting the Guardians and Iron Man meeting Doctor Strange. The interactions between all of these characters and the different sorts of chemistry and the relationships that are formed is something that people are going to be pretty blown away by."

From the Avengers Infinity War trailer, it is evident that the God of Thunder will run into the Guardians of the Galaxy. In addition, in one of the post-credit scenes of Thor Ragnarok, we can see that a large vessel before Thor, Loki, and Hulk. Rumours suggest that the vessel belongs to the mad Titan, Thanos and he will attack the Asgardians survivors and throw Thor into the space. From there, Thor somehow gets bumped into the guardians and ask them help for fighting Thanos.

Chris Hemsworth said, "I wanted it to work so badly and I knew that we left everything on the field, so I had such a positive feeling about our approach to making that movie. There was so much goodwill involved and everyone was willing to try something different and take risks. So there was a great sense of pride that (director) Taika (Waititi) and I felt. The cast and the crew all felt we really went for it and swung for the fences. So, regardless of how it was going to do, I felt very happy with what we did. But, look, of course I was surprised and happy and blown away by the response. We all wanted that to happen and felt it was something that could happen more so than ever before and when it did, it was incredible." Avengers Infinity War released date is declared as May 4, 2018.

Scarlett Johansson Has A Few Ideas For The Solo Black Widow Movie

In a recent announcement, the executives from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) announced that Marvel fans will soon be treated with a standalone Black Widow movie. Even though Marvel has refused to share any details on when the movie will be released and what stories the movie would adapt, it is rumored that the movie will hit the screen by the end of 2020. This means that the movie will happen after the third and fourth Avengers movies.

Scarlett Johansson who played the super spy, Natasha Romanoff first debuted in the MCU through Iron Man 2 and since then she has impressed all of us with her terrific performance. In an interview, the actress added that she is extremely happy with the recent announcement made by MCU and she is very much ready for a standalone Black Widow movie. She added, “I’m invested in that character. Marvel is greatly invested in that character. If I did it, I’d have to do it while. I still actually wanted to wear a skin-tight cat suit. I don’t know how much longer that’s going to be.”

It has been confirmed that the 33-year-old Hollywood actress will continue to work with the Marvel Studios until 2019. However, Scarlett Johansson did state that she does not know whether she will be able to wear the “skin-tight cat suit” for a very long time, as she gets older. So, she might not be planning to extend her contract with Marvel after 2019 but a standalone Black Widow will definitely happen before she retires from the role

The pressing question is that what will the newly announced Black Widow movie be about - will be an origin story, or will it be a continuation of the phase 3 of MCU. However, it seems that the actress do have some ideas on her new MCU project. Scarlett Johansson said, “I would like for it to happen under the right circumstances. I think there’s a lot of opportunity to mine that story line. She’s got a really rich origins story. There’s a lot of places you can go, you can bring it back to Russia. You could explore the Widow program. There’s all kinds of stuff that you could do with it. You could really uncover the identity of who this person is, where she comes from and where she’s part of.”

She added, “There’s plenty of back story. Or not. It could be something else. Where do the Avengers go? They are underground. What happens then? What happens after it all falls apart? There are so many ways you can go. I think it would just have to be very much like its own specific thing. It would have to have its own specific vibe. It would have been totally different than any of the other standalone films. I think if the fans wanted it enough, then it would probably become a reality.”

However, it doesn’t really matter what the standalone movie will be about because it will be surely welcomed by Marvel fans who has been dying to see a standalone Black Widow movie. Moreover, who doesn’t love to see Natasha Romanoff in a thrilling and suspenseful, tightly wound chase story, which isolates her from the rest of the Avengers.

Can Thanos Become The New Darth Vader

For most of us, particularly to the ones who grew up watching Star Wars, Darth Vader will be one of the best and greatest movie villains of all time. Off course, there were a number of better villains including Heath Ledger’s Joker and Anthony Hopkins’ Hannibal Lecter. However, there was something about Darth Vader, which made him a lot more intimidating and scarier than other villains.

One of the major issues with the MaCU was that they didn’t have many great villains. Loki was good but he could not scare the avengers whereas Ultron was scarier but he failed to prove his point. Over the last ten years, fans were deeply disappointed because MCU was not able to introduce a strong antagonist who could tear down the Avengers with his strength, power or intellect.

However, these complaints from MCU fans and Marvel comic book readers will finally come to end when the third Avengers movie, Avengers Infinity War hit the screen. It has already been established that Thanos will bring destruction and some of the heroes might not even be able to outlive the attack of the Mad Titan. The co-director of Avengers Infinity War, Joe Russo recently stated that he hopes that Thanos (Josh Brolin) will become Darth Vader for the current or next generation.

He said, “Darth Vader was the pre-eminent villain of my childhood, and we're hoping to make a Darth Vader for a new generation. We're hoping he has that complexity to him, and that he strikes fear into the heart of the audience, but at the same time they go on a journey with him. Frankly, Avengers 3 is his movie.”

The president of Marvel Studios had already teased that Thanos will establish himself as the greatest and strongest Marvel villan within 5 minutes of the Infinity war. He said, "We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. Within the first five minutes of Infinity War, people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Joe Russo added, "It's very important to us that Thanos has a level of photorealism that makes that audience believe him. He added that Thanos is an incredible threat and the heroes may have to extreme steps to prevent him from achieving his goal.
