Hawkeye Will Be On A Solo Mysterious Journey In Avengers Infinity War

One of the founding members of MCU’s Avengers, Clint Barton/Hawkeye was notably left out from the trailers, posters, and other promotional materials of Avengers Infinity War. This flooded the internet with rumours that the archer might not be making an appearance in the third Avengers movie while others believe that Hawkeye is going to take up the mantle of Ronin in Infinity War, which is why Marvel has left him out from the promotional materials.

If you are an ardent marvel comic book fan or a passionate MCU film lover, then the question of is Hawkeye going to be in Avengers Infinity War might have popped into your mind at least a couple of times. The directors of the third Avengers movie recently confirm that Jeremy Renner’s archer will indeed make an appearance in the movie. In fact, Hawkeye will be on a solo mysterious adventurous journey during Infinity War.

Joe Russo said, “Hawkeye coming out of Civil War is in the same position that the Cap and Falcon are in at the end of that movie. And Ant Man. And coming into this movie, the characters who are on Cap's side coming out of Civil War, some made certain decisions and others made other decisions that led to different paths and them dealing with oversight in this movie in a different way. So, Hawkeye's on his own journey in this movie.” Anthony Russo added, “Yeah, he has a unique reaction to the Civil War situation that puts him in a special spot this film.”

Joe Russo continued by stating that "There's a lot of characters in these movies that have tones that they're bringing from their own franchises. I think it's a very unique film. I don't think there are a lot of movies that have the kind of tone that this movie has, because it's a combination of franchises. I don't think we've ever seen that before, on this scale. It's got a really unique tone to it. I think it's propulsive. I would say it's an adventure film, but it has elements of a... We were inspired by 90s crime films when we were working on the script, so it's got an energy to it, a bit of a smash-and-grab energy." Avengers Infinity War release date was recently moved o April 27, 2018 by Marvel Studios.
